Non-Liability Clause
In the case of direct or indirect referrals to foreign Internet sites ("links") which lie outside the area of responsibility of the author, a liability obligation would only take effect if the author has knowledge of the contents and it were technically possible or reasonable for him to prevent use in the case of unlawful contents. The author has examined the foreign contents for possible legal violations within a reasonable scope. The author hereby declares that at the time of linking, no illegal contents were recognizable to him on the sites to be linked.
The author has no influence on the current and future design, contents or authorship of the linked/associated sites. Consequently, he hereby distances himself explicitly from all contents of the linked/associated sites. This declaration is valid for all links and referrals within the proprietary Internet offer as well as foreign entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists established by the author. For illegal, flawed or incomplete contents and in particular for damages, resulting from the use or non-use of the information presented, the site provider being referred to is solely responsible, not however, the one who merely refers to the site in question via links.
